Gainful Employment

The primary focus of Bridges Beauty College is to prepare students for gainful employment after they graduate from their program. The placement of students is of importance and is viewed as the measure of success of Bridges Beauty College.

By now, I'm sure many of you have heard about the gainful employment rules proposed by the Department of Education. And, we are sure some of you might be confused about the details - and about what this might mean for Bridges Beauty College. The U.S. Department of Education is introducing more than a dozen new regulations governing a variety of Higher-Education issues. Among those are what's known as the gainful employment rule changes are intended to measure how well a college program at a private sector school and community colleges prepare students for employment in a recognized occupation.

At Bridges Beauty College, our Employment Specialist provides instruction in career preparation Workshop for all students enrolled.

Before the completion of training, students receive intensive job preparation includ

  • How to use your DESIRE, self-motivation and self-confidence to succeed
  • How to DELIVER your best personal appearance
  • Helping students become comfortable with interviews by providing students with mock interviews
  • How to write an effective resume and cover letter
  • The proper way to fill out employment applications is covered
  • How to find and keep a career position

The Bridges Beauty College Employment Specialist is available to consult with any interested student on career opportunities available upon graduation.
Students are encouraged to maintain contact with the Employment Services Specialist and utilize his/her assistance.
Lifetime placement assistance is available to alumni of Bridges Beauty College.
